Paul Beaudry and guitarist Adam Rafferty met on the bandstand in New York City playing several gigs together since 2002. Beaudry and Rafferty continued to become close friends and perform and record together whenever the opportunity arose. In 2008 they decided to record as a duo launching a challenging and adventurous project. Paul Beaudry – New Tomorrows, features original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards by Beaudry and Rafferty as well as some vocal work by the pair plus additional strings and percussion. The recording is a jazz celebration of guitar and bass duo in a variety of musical settings and styles including swing, funk, blues, Brazilian, Americana, and ballads. The recording was officially released in 2018! Look out for more videos and performances to follow in support of the project.
